After-school advocacy videos!

| February 16, 2011

It’s so good to be back after a long hiatus!  We took a pause over Christmas break and have spent most of January and February getting spring projects started.  With everything off to a strong beginning we’re  happy to be back on Pressible and have something extra special to share with you!

As you know from past entries, Harlem Ivy students participating in Service Learning spent the fall working on projects advocating the importance of after-school programming.  Students from all four sites came together for a celebration at Teachers College in December to share the work they had done for after-school advocacy and to see what their peers at other Harlem Ivy sites had created.  We’ll be back with pictures of the event soon, but to get you in the swing of things here are some amazing public service announcements put together by the third graders in the Children’s Arts and Science Workshop after-school program at PS 115.  Enjoy!!
